hello!

i'm james (they/he), and this is my silly little website! i use this site to give a little more space for the things floating around in my head, such as thoughts about music/books, random life experiences, lil art things, crunching the big thoughts and feelings as they come up, etc. take a look around and maybe leave me a message in the comment box!

12/30/2023 i created a new page!!! check out swiss cheese memories to peruse my memory tracker as i try to preserve my past using my swiss cheese brain. i also updated my creative corner with a couple of new pieces. i've decided to try out watercolor for fun!

10/14/2023 oog hiii! i made a reading entry for mistakes were made, a sapphic rom-com. it was a really fun read XD! i've been feeling pretty depressed the last month or so, but this book brought some light in the meantime. let me know if you read/have read the book or anything that came up when perusing my thoughts!

09/17/2023 reworked ~the void~ to be the creative corner instead! it was originally ~the void~ - a dark hole that i threw artistic things into...lol but that doesn't seem right! i decided to rework it to make it brighter and uhh happier. i think i typically create things as a form of escapism/emotional outlet/? so there is a higher chance for those things to be darker. but regardless of the content, i wanted this space to at the very least have a bright atmosphere. hence the pink. the code is so ugly dsjhjsdhgldhg but i wanted it to do specific responsive things so oh well!!

oh i also added more quizzes to my about me section.

07/27/2023 yoopieeee! i finally updated the site to change up some color schemes, switched from flexbox to a grid responsive layout, updated the navigation bar and overall site navigability, and added new content to my bookshelf/music/journal pages. explore!

07/02/2023 - journal entry - dreams - woke up with a lil epiphany lols. also. hmmmm i think i'm getting a bit board of the beige....hmmmmm... i'm also thinking about making the site uhhhh less mobile friendly so that i can make it a bit more like how i want it to look. we shall see.

06/28/2023 - journal entry - gender? that's crazy - two month t update! also updated the void with my favorite goose-duck creature. i feel like this guy should have a bigger spot on this site...lmk what you think >.> hopefully will be updating my bookshelf to talk about the locked tomb series soon!
